I'm a Florida State Licensed Massage Therapist and CEO of Massage or Knot.

Prior to me becoming a therapist, I worked in customer service for many years. After I went through a very challenging time in my life, I discovered massage and how it helped me physically and mentally. Two months after I had my very first professional massage, I signed up to attend massage school in June of 1998 and graduated the next year.

My training focused on anatomy with an emphasis in how to help clients relax while receiving medical massage. I don't believe in creating pain to alleviate pain. I also believe that every client deserves to have the bodywork session she, or he, deserves; there is no "best" type of massage or bodywork, only what is best for YOU. Because of this, my work style is typically a combination of many styles tailored to the individual I'm working with. I strive to be 100% present during each session; with this in mind, I limit myself to a maximum of 4 treatments per day with 30-60 minutes between each session.
